| Biography Dr. Peter E Waldron is founder and president of Christians Restoring America's Greatness. He is an author, speaker, and political consultant. He served in the U. S. Army. After military service he was hired by the Pan East Contracting Corporation in Beirut, Lebanon. He served as a liaison between some of the newly independent nations of sub-Sahara Africa and multi-international corporations in Europe, North America and South Asia. Dr. Waldron hosted a nationally syndicated radio broadcast for several years. His Capitol Hill location in Washington, DC provided a venue and forum for interviews and debates with politicians, government officials, and special interest advocates and authors. Dr. Waldron's political work includes work for the Reagan/Bush; Bush/Quayle; Bauer for President; McCain for President; and the Bush/Cheney Presidential campaigns. Other political clients include the Republican National Committee; Republican National Senatorial Committee and Republican National Congressional Committee. He has worked on several campaigns for the US Senate and House. He organized the successful campaign for a pro-marriage amendment to the Alaska Constitution in 1998. Beginning in 2002, Dr. Waldron worked in Uganda in an effort to facilitate the delivery of antiretroviral drugs to HIV infected patients. He managed the safe, secure and efficient distribution of antiretroviral drugs to HIV/AIDS patients. In 2006, he was falsely accused of being a spy by the Uganda government's secret police. After 37-days of torture, intense interrogations, and solitary confinement, the White House intervened and secured Dr. Waldron's release. He returned to the United States in March 2006. He wrote several books, to include, Rebuilding the Walls: A Biblical Strategy for Restoring America's Greatness. His intense efforts to help people around the world in the fight for personal freedom liberty resulted in false imprisonment, torture and much personal loss--his exploits are the subject of a major motion picture releasing in 2012. Dr. Waldron is co-founder and president of Advancing American Freedom. Dr. Waldron is a frequent guest on radio, cable and network TV programs. |
